Welcome to Part 2 of the Communications Essentials. In Part 1, we explored key aspects of softening communication and managing conflict. In this part, we dig deeper by exploring listening habits that by their definition derail effective listening. These are called "Listening Blocks," for they block our ability to hear each other, usually either distorting what we hear or causing us to become avoidant and/or combative, turning even the simplest moments into hostility.
