About
"Cracked" is multi-week series that takes the next step in helping couples and individuals get "unstuck." It is currently planned for eight weeks. Participants will explore the journey from initial hopefulness in new relationships, friendships, and careers to the challenges and doubts that can arise when disagreements, hardships, and routine begin. When these begin, many people find themselves questioning whether their current career, friendships, or relationships are different from past ones. Not surprising, they begin to fight more, lose hope, blame, wonder about their exes or "nexts," check out, or just become blah toward love in general or this current love in particular. They may fear their job is draining or families do not care. Does this sound familiar? I hope it is comforting to know that literarily most relationships and careers will face these same challenges, yet many face and over them. "Cracked" seeks to help you chose the successful and overcoming path rather than the tempting conclusions that 1) its your partner's, job's, child's, parent's, or friend's fault, 2) you need a new partner, circle, or career, 3) or just end it. If the area where you are cracked, is job related, people often hate it forever. If it is romance related, people sometimes swear off love for ever. This program , therefore, delves into the psychological patterns and cognitive distortions that often cloud our judgment and perception of our relationships, careers, and family/community. Through engaging lessons and practical exercises, participants will learn about cultural biases, gender poisons, mental filtering, triggers, all-or-nothing thinking, and other common distortions that can make a relationship seem worse than it actually is. By understanding these patterns, individuals will be empowered to recognize and challenge negative thoughts, fostering healthier communication and deeper emotional connections. This program meets Sundays at 9 AM, beginning November 8, 2025.
